Greedy neighbor wrongly receives $50 takeout delivery, starts to eat it instead of giving it back: ‘Do people just accept and eat other people’s food?’

Listen, we have all had those nights when we wish that dinner would magically materialize in front of us with no effort or expense on our part. Perhaps we’re hungry, but too tired to cook or it’s the end of the month, and ice soup is looking like the most viable option right now. A piping hot takeout meal delivered straight to our door would be nothing short of paradise in these situations. The only thing is that unless we have some kind of guardian angel who specializes in junk food, that delivery probably belongs to someone else.

This didn’t stop one household who were on the receiving end of Twitter’s disapproval when their neighbor complained that they had started to eat his takeout order after it was incorrectly delivered to their house. Querying whether this was normal behavior, other people assured him that this was a step too far. It’s only a blessing if it doesn’t come at someone else’s expense.
