We take a lot of things for granted as people living in 2023. We’ve got constant entertainment at our fingertips, we can order anything to our houses at the drop of a hat, and we barely even have to cook food for ourselves anymore. I don’t know about y’all, but I’m quite pleased that my ability to survive the winter is not dependent on the success of a harvest. I don’t think I would thrive in an agrarian society because I know nothing about grains or legumes. I need to consume at least two bottles of Diet Coke daily, or else I shrivel up and succumb. I would absolutely be cast out of a farming community because constant repetitive mindless tasks drive me insane. All and all, I am glad I live in a modern world with memes and other amusements to get me through the monotony and easiness of modern life.
