Homeowner struggles with repeated trespassing by neighbor’s unsupervised children, while playing and running around her unsafe yard, debates confronting their mother after she dismissed her safety warning on Halloween: ‘Her girls are a handful’

I’ve always wanted a home that feels like a giant welcome sign. With the chaotic noise of the neighbor’s children playing in my front yard, or random, unannounced visits from people who just want to know how my Tuesday is going. Is it obvious that I grew up watching Girlmore Girls? I guess it’s just hard for me to believe that not everyone dreams of living in Stars Hollow. I’ve never considered it too deeply, but perhaps not everyone wants their neighbors running across their property…? Many value their privacy and don’t really feel the need to turn their backyard into a community playground, and maybe that’s okay, too?

I’m starting to think this is how this woman may feel. While it’s possible that she grew up watching Neighborhood Wars, because she has had it up to here (currently holding my hand to the sky) with having her neighbors’ children running around her yard without permission, and at all times of day! Once or twice is acceptable. But her yard is full of hills and dog-dug-up ditches, and she certainly does not want to be held responsible if anything happens to the kids during ‘playtime’, especially after countless dismissed warnings to their mother!
