Homeschooling stepmom pressures mom into homeschooling her 8 and 9-year-old children, claims her 4 kids are jealous that they go to public school: ‘Nicole said it is unfair for her children to see mine go to school while hers do not’

Public school is not perfect. Many public school students leave school with a less-than-stellar grasp of basic concepts that should be second nature by the time they’re 18. However, I resent the idea that all public schools are cesspools of low morals and mediocre education. I’d venture to say that many parents who enroll their kids in private school or homeschool do so out of fear of the unknown. There is no shortage of parents who pay thousands of dollars a year for private school because they’re afraid that their kids will turn gay if they go to public school. That is bananas. While there are valid reasons to put your kids in private school or homeschool if you live in an area with notoriously poor public schools, many parents do so to shield their children from the big, bad world. Once those kids enter the real world, it will be a wake-up call.
