Remember that ‘Let’s Get This Bread’ meme? Well, it’s back. Kinda. As people commend the essential workers toiling away in the face of  the pandemic, people on Twitter have started a meme featuring mascots and other costumed workers wondering why the hell they’re going in. While the premise of a weary Chuck E. Cheese lamenting essential worker status is funny, there really are some integral laborers who should be receiving a hell of a lot of respect. So while we laugh at Ronald McDonald and the rest of these jokey tweets, let’s hear it for the people on the front lines.
