It’s rare to come across a story online that isn’t just for clout or is viral because it is something bad that happened—especially when it’s a story that happened on a flight. Traveling is stressful and everyone knows all too well how unreliable airlines can be these days. However, that is not what this story that is currently going viral is about. It simply started with a video of a woman who had clearly just been crying and living through a very difficult day. She just wanted to post a video thanking a stranger who was sitting next to her on her flight. She was flying last minute because that morning she had gotten the news that her grandfather had an accident and did not have much more time to live. She hopped on the first flight she could get, which unfortunately left her with a 25 minute connection.
