‘In big bold letters, «DAD»…’: Kids carve their names in their father’s truck, uncle has the perfect way to teach his 2 young nephews a valuable lesson in petty revenge

Being a parent comes with more than the responsibility of keep your kid alive. I mean, that is definitely a big part of it, but the other part is helping them grow into good human beings. We can go back and forth on the definitions of good and bad for ages, but there are some obvious ones that everyone can agree with. For one, «don’t damage things that aren’t yours» is a «good» that is probably agreed upon across the world. How do you teach your kids what damaging is? For them, they might think the glitter they just poured into the battery compartment in your $1k+ camera is actually going to make your camera better! How can you contain your anger and calmly teach them that what they just did was actually not «good»?

This was something a father had to learn to teach after his kids keyed his car. Now, we’re not talking about when a jaded lover keys an ex’s car. We’re talking about some kids who just thought it would be fun to carve their names into their dad’s car. How can you teach your kids that this was a very careless and expensive thing they just did?
