Group projects are either the start of an ever-blossoming friendship…or the end of one. Working with a team is fun, social, and insightful. That is, if everyone puts in an equal amount of time and effort, whilst ensuring their communication remains strong. Because if you lack efficient structure and communication, your group work may end up much like the Titanic…drowned and divided in two. This law student didn’t want to let her team down, as she far more enjoyed her time dry on land…so she made sure to finish her portion of their project early. 

So when she went back to read through their final draft just days before the due date, she was shocked to find her entire section rewritten and structured. Much like a bad facelift, her work was unrecognizable. She confronted the traitors and questioned when and why they had all agreed on this. Their excuses were to ‘improve the flow, synchronization, and blah blah blah’…Forgetting to inform her that they were meeting outside of college to complete it…The best part? Days later, they called her demanding that she rewrite the whole section from scratch, as they’ve realized they’re unhappy with their edited version. They might as well have been dressed up as clowns…because she just LAUGHED in their face at that idea!
