There is a good reason that most job descriptions ask for applicants to be ‘a team player’. People who are not capable of working well with others are almost always more of a hindrance than a help in the workplace. When someone is clocking into a job that they are primarily doing to pay the bills, the last thing they want to deal with is somebody who is making it even more obvious that they don’t want to be there. It only makes things more difficult for others.
