Legend Asks for Suggestions to Cover Up ‘Shrimps is Bugs’ Tattoo, Gets Flooded With Compliments Instead

The greatest debate among tattoo havers is whether your ink needs to mean anything or not. Personally, I don’t think it does, so long as you like the design and can live with it for the rest of your life.

However, that doesn’t mean you can’t get a tattoo for something that’s important to you. Family and life milestones are pretty common reasons for people to get tatted, as are personal allegiances. Rarely are they as impressive, though, as what is inked onto one regretful Redditor’s thigh.

Posting to r/TattooDesigns recently, u/Lewbular wanted some advice on how best to go covering up a teenage tattoo that he regretted. Unfortunately for him, nobody wanted to give him any suggestions. This was because it expresses the belief that «shrimps is bugs», a philosophy that everyone else on the sub had to get behind.

Needless to say, many of the responses to the post were pretty amusing. Let this be a supportive sign to those who have tattoos that they regret; even if you think they’re dumb, there might be somebody out there who finds them worthwhile.
