Redditor u/bookc420 has been going through a lot. So much that he approached the notoriously savage r/roastme subreddit  and they could barely insult him. Why? Well, here was his request:  «Fighting a rare stage four cancer called leomyosarcoma. Make me feel worse.»

Leiomyosarcoma is a rare and aggressive cancer, and at stage IV, it’s rarely curable. The creatively rude members of r/roastme seemed to soften at this post, offering up some roasts (usually punctuated with well-wishes) but mostly offering support and love during this unimaginably trying time. The thread went from dark to wholesome pretty quickly, and left us with a little more hope for humanity.
