Hair stylists and barbers are no stranger to advertising their results. When you’re entrusting a stranger with something as important as your hair, you want to know that they’re going to do the best job possible. While your main concern might be whether you’re likely to leave the salon crying or not, closer examination can sometimes reveal some unexpected Easter eggs. 

This was the case for @lvteef, who ran into an entertaining entry in a salon’s online photo gallery while looking for a place to get his hair braided. The pictures show a white woman with immaculately braided follicles, and it wasn’t long before people registered that she had a famous lookalike who may have been prepping her hair for a new wig. Whether the individual pictured is Melissa McCarthy or not, there’s no doubt that she is a fantastic advertisement for the skill of the hairstylist. That said, Twitter users are more invested in the entertainment value than likely to book an appointment.
