Man refuses to give his sentimental PS4 to his cousin, who found it in his room, and gets called a freeloader by his aunt

Nobody is entitled to your belongings just because a child got excited about them. That is not how ownership works, that is not how birthdays work, and it is genuinely not how any social contract between adults is supposed to function. A kid finding something in a room he had no business being in and announcing he wants it is not a gift.

It’s just a kid being a kid. The adult in that situation is supposed to be the parent.
