I don’t know why most of the workforce is designed to cater to people who enjoy waking up early. I know so few people who are genuinely morning people that it makes no sense that most of us have to get up before eight to get to work on time. It might be a ‘the chicken or the egg’ situation. What came first, work and school starting in the morning or most people hating mornings? The world may never know. 

Even though I am a morning person, I must consume a caffeinated liquid to begin my day. My poison of choice is non-other than Diet Coke. If I have one addiction in my life, it is Diet Coke. I do not care that it is making my eye twitch as I write this. I don’t care that it’s strange to drink it in the morning. I love my favorite soda pop, and if I can drink it with my memes, I am a happy camper.
