Mildly Infuriating Posts That Are Technically Not Wrong

It’s easy to be correct and even easier to be wrong. But it takes true talent and wit to be correct in the wrong way.

The only kid I really remember from first grade was a magnificent smart-ass named Jimmy. He always had the most annoying kind of wrong right answer, which infuriated teachers. If there was a test asking for a list of words spelled correctly, Jimmy would list the words from the question. If a teacher asked the class «what ended in 1776?» Jimmy would answer, «1775.» He was always getting in trouble for his intentional fails and obnoxiously literal answers to questions, but the rest of us knew that he was bound to become some sort of comic genius.

In honor of class clowns and mad lads like Jimmy, here’s a collection of funny posts full of comically literal truths and clever comebacks that feel wrong but are technically correct.
