Millennials Reminisce On the Obscure Movies They Watched to Death on VHS

There are plenty of things that distinguish Gen Alpha from anybody born before 2000. Much of it is about access to and the power of screens. While most contemporary adults grew up to be screen addicts in some capacity, it was tougher to be that way when we were growing up.

Streaming allows the children of today any movie or show they could hope for right at their fingertips. Back then, some might argue it was more about quality over quantity, and enjoying what your parents bought for you. Many more would suggest that it was just about lack of quantity, because even without YouTube Kids, the type of movies being churned out for children were pretty dire.

This has been highlighted in a recent Twitter thread, in which millennials reflected on the one obscure movie they rewatched endlessly on VHS when they were children. There are some niche choices here, and that makes them all the more of a special memory.
