I wonder if there are any people who fully believe, without a shred of doubt, that they are normal. I’m walking around at all times, wondering if I’m completely socially inept, and I know that there must be some people who don’t feel that way. To normies, I say, «Good for you.» 

The people who talk about how being normal is boring annoy me because there’s no way they radically accept everyone for exactly who they are. There is a very specific way you are socially allowed to be a freak, and if you go beyond that in a way that rubs up against people too much, you’re ostracized. Most of us are normal compared to those people, so we should just accept it. The real weirdos are the people you hate, who make you uncomfortable, and who won’t gain mainstream respect for another 20 years. If you’re normal, embrace your yuppie life and have fun with it.
