In the service industry, it’s incredibly important to be polite and courteous to your «guests,» but occasionally, a chance presents itself that can’t be ignored. These chances are few and far between but can be fruitful—especially when you read the room just right. 

This server managed to pull off a brilliant act of malicious compliance that managed to win over his guests—all except for one. The target of this malicious compliance was none other than the boyfriend of the family’s daughter (am I the only one thinking that it could have been a son of the family? I just find it hard to believe anyone else would be this bold and foolish.) 

When he rudely announced that he was going to be ordering for the entire table, the server decided to run with it and teach him a lesson he would never forget.
