Here you are, scrolling on a tiny computer that fits the entire world in your pocket and we think nothing of it– imagine explaining that to a 17th century peasant! However, centuries of innovation have made some things more important, while making others more obsolete.As a society, we used to value chivalrous male suitors courting our dames in the sitting room over the course of a year before proposing and nowadays it’s perfectly normal to swipe left on a stranger just because something about their selfie rubbed you the wrong way.
