Nobody likes to be the only one doing their job.
It helps to be part of a team. It’s why we work collaboratively. Things tend to be better when we put more heads together than when we’re off on our own. It’s one of the challenges of the workplace, though, because humans tend to have conflicts with one another. We don’t always see eye to eye, and we will have different approaches to the same project. When everyone is not on the same page, things can get a little tricky. We lose faith in one another, and everything comes tumbling down. Resentment starts to grow, and everyone has to look out for themselves instead of being in it together with someone else. That’s what happened in this story from the r/work subreddit, where an employee was airing an unfortunately very common complaint.
