Relationships will always have a certain level of dissonance, especially if both parties in the relationship have different fundamental ways of existing in the world. Our differences are what make life interesting, and they are quirks that our partners love about us. This unfortunately does not mean that tension won’t rise at certain points, even if we are trying our best to understand our partners. At the end of the day, we need to sit ourselves down and wonder if anything is ever that serious—at least, a child’s school permission slip, for one.

That’s the topic of this next story, where a husband signs his daughter’s permission slip for school while his overly organized wife is physically adding the task to her to-do list. The child laughs at her mother after hearing her father tell her that adding the task to her to-do list was unnecessary… and let’s just say that his wife took that as an insult.
