Online shopping is a risky business. Not only does it have a much higher likelihood of false advertising, depending on where you live there’s a chance that your delivery might not even get to you in the first place. Placing an order only to get it snatched by porch pirates is an exceedingly annoying phenomenon, but some people experience it with such frequency that they’ve had to take matters into their own hands.

When @EveHarmsWrites came up against the issue, she knew she had to try something to detract thieves from her home. However, her answer to it was a little more unconventional than tracking down the perpetrator. Instead, she came up with a zine to leave in a package outside her door containing a message to stop the crooks coming back.

Plenty of people on Twitter were impressed with the effort she’d made, with some even requesting copies for themselves. While Eve’s solution to the crime is yet to show concrete results, we can only applaud the creativity.
