One of the few things that everybody has in common is that we were all kids once. The way we were treated by our parents and caretakers has shaped our lives for better or worse. While it can get annoying for parents when childless people share their smug ideas about how parenting should work, both child-havers and the childfree are allowed to have their opinions on this thing that we have all experienced from at least one end.

Parenting is one of the toughest jobs out there, and it’s inevitable that anyone who does it is going to make some mistakes. Naturally, this leads to other people sharing their opinions on this. 

A recent Twitter thread has tackled this thorny topic, asking people to contribute their most unpopular opinions about parenting. Not all of these are easy things to hear, but many of them aren’t wrong. No parent is perfect, that’s for sure.
