People Share Useful Advice They Wish They’d Gotten in Their 20s

As a 23-year-old, I don’t get a lot of unsolicited advice. I think that’s because I’m an adult now, and nobody is constantly watching over me and telling me what to do. But I’ve watched enough media about quarter-life crises to know that I’m in the midst of a turning point. It feels like I have two options: become highly successful at a young age and thrive forever or flounder and become a complete and utter failure. Of course, those aren’t the only two options. I will probably fall into millions of possible «mediocrity scenarios,» each more terrifying than the last!

Luckily, Twitter users who are beyond these delicate years have shared some extremely helpful advice for those of us in our first decade of adulthood.
