You know how older people will practically worship their younger relatives for simply helping them set up their new phone? If a show like The IT Crowd has taught the world anything, it’s that professional programmers and IT guys can get the same treatment from their (non-tech) coworkers.

Of course, it’s not always a walk in the park with people who don’t know their C++ from their Python. They can have unrealistic expectations, and often expect any kind of issue to be instantly fixed on a whim. 

Still, it’s usually the coders who have the upper hand thanks to their special knowledge. It’s only fair that they get a plethora of memes with which to celebrate and complain about their plight. You may know the key to how the world behind our screens works, but it’s not always the easiest of rides. At least there are people on the internet who try and be funny about it.
