Whatever happened to asking workers politely to move their car?

If you are fortunate enough to be able to afford workers regularly coming to your house to maintain your property, you know that you should treat them with dignity and respect if you want them to do a good job. If you live in a rich neighborhood with no shortage of households that are willing to pay top-dollar for a gardener or a cleaner, you’re a dime a dozen. A blue-collar worker can easily quit if they have enough clients, and your household is too much of a pain to continue. 

Unfortunately, not all workers have the option to pick and choose their clients. Sometimes, they have to keep working with the biggest jerks in the world because that’s the only way they’re going to pay their bills. The boomer in this story is not a dream of a client to work with, because he was super passive-aggressive about an HVAC worker parking his truck in the shaded area of his giant driveway. It’s like these people are looking for things to get mad about.
