Weddings are a powder keg of emotions. They’re expensive, stressful to plan, and are supposed to be the pinnacle of every woman’s life (if you read Ladies Home Journal from 1950). So it’s no wonder that they often blow up in unexpected ways. And, usually, at the center of those events is the wedding dress. For many brides, the dress is the most important factor in the wedding. It has to be perfect, classic, fit just to you and costs more than any other item of clothing you will ever buy. I used to watch a lot of «Say Yes to the Dress» so I’m a well-learned student in the world of bridal wear. Some brides will try on hundreds before they settle on «the one.»
