Love is great and all, but there’s no getting away from the fact that dedicating your entire life to being with someone has its ups and downs. People may decide to marry each other for all sorts of reasons, but on paper they do it because they can’t think of anything better than committing til death do us part. 

Of course, this often turns out to be far from reality. Even those in the most smug, blissfully happy partnerships fall out with each other sometimes, which leaves little hope for the rest of us if we ever want to achieve wedded bliss. Unfortunately, there’s just no getting away from the fact that personality clashes, dumb decisions and bad moods are always going to happen at certain times.

Someone who was provided with a stark reminder of this recently was @willharrigan, who shared with the world a particularly angry text sent by his wife while he was driving. As it turns out, his decision to move the coffee machine that morning had been the wrong thing to do if he wanted a sense of peace in his relationship. 

While some viewers were all too familiar with the predicament faced by either him or his partner, others disapproved of the admittedly aggressive interaction. It can be difficult to know when to draw the line when you share all the stresses of life, but also contribute to them at the same time — and sometimes all it takes to smudge it are some coffee grounds.
