All things are about balance, and the world of memes is not an exception to the rule. For every excellent, classic, timeless meme, there has to be at least three hopelessly cringe ones. Every image that deals in the sunshine and rainbows of life has to be tempered by one that is incredibly bleak and depressing. Most importantly of all, we have to follow every meme that we consume with another one, leading to the never-ending cycle that is meme addiction.

We can’t lie here, sometimes it is a (very) good idea to log off and experience the real world instead of hitting our eyeballs with the same screen-based content over and over.
