Listen, it’s fair enough for a 12-year-old child to get bored, and it results in a few moans and sulks. It happens. What’s not fair is for her to ruin another girl’s birthday when being informed of the long day’s activities beforehand. At the end of the day, New York City has no age restriction. What was meant to be a day full of parks, pizza, and a show to end it all off turned into the birthday girl’s mother trying to organize a ride home for this complaining child, as her parents refused to fetch her.

The girl’s mother told the host to drive back over an hour to bring her daughter home, which would ultimately mean missing her own daughter’s birthday dinner. After hours of back-and-forths, the girl’s dad finally came to fetch her, with much disdain. A few days later, the host mom had discovered that the other girl’s mom had been spreading gossip about her among the group of mothers…Seems like it takes an entitled person to raise one.
