When it comes to the category of animals that can talk for some cursed reason, it’s usually parrots that get all the PR. They are the ones that come in pretty colors, after all. 

However, Polly isn’t the only one who can tell you when they want a cracker. As it turns out, there are a whole host of birds out there who are good at mimicry, and one of the best is the European Starling. In the right environment, this species can mimic almost any kind of sound or speech, as shown in a startling video that recently went viral on Twitter. 

Showing impressive accuracy, many viewers weren’t too sure that they liked what they were hearing. There’s no denying that it is pretty creepy to see that amount of lexical skill coming from another member of the animal kingdom. It’s a good thing birds aren’t real, otherwise we might have a problem on our hands.
