When I was kid, my mom stayed at home to take care of us kids and my dad went to work during the day. Looking back on the early years, she rocked that role like she was the CEO of motherhood. There was never a moment where she wasn’t busy meal prepping, picking us up, dropping us off, tutoring, cleaning, cooking, or planning. It’s a hard job that shouldn’t be taken lightly, and had the roles between my parents reversed, my dad probably would have needed a good week or two of intensive training.
