Siblings are an elite bond. No offense to only children, but that sibling bond is like nothing else. Only a sibling can make you crack with one word, but also have your back no matter what. As a little sister, I know! My brother is one of my closest bonds, but also the only person who can make me scream with anger. A sibling can support you in ways nobody can, not even a best friend. When you grew up that close to someone, both physically and emotionally, it does things to you. 

So it’s not surprising to me that this guy quickly changed his tune about his «slacker» younger brother after being forced to have him as an emotional support system.
