I’m famously not a gamer girl, but I think it’s uniquely humiliating that I’ve never really even played Mario Kart. Like even the stupidest babies who have never played another video game have played the many games led by this Italian-American gentleman, and I straight up haven’t. Of course, I do know things about Mario from being around culture and watching others play him while in the same room. I know he has a brother (not a lover!) named Luigi. I know that they have adversaries of similar names. I’d like to shake the hands of whoever thought of «Waluigi» after the character of «Wario» had already been established. I hope that they dramatically spit out their coffee in the conference room when they came up with it! I know that Princess Peach and a Toad person are around, and I think that’s good enough! If you’re a real Mario fan (or just enough of a fan that you can do more than list the characters), these Mario Kart memes will have you going «Waah Waah Waah.»
