Teen paints the principal’s door hot pink after they backpedal on their deal or free lunches in exchange for painting the office: ‘[Don’t] make me do labor for free’

Teens are capable of understanding the value of hard work, especially when they’re paid in food.

During their formidable growth years, teens consume their weight in food every day. Parents of a teen understand that when their kid is going through a growth spurt, they’re capable of devouring an entire refrigerator (and then some) in a matter of seconds. Mimicking the ravenous appetite of a swarm of locusts, a teenager’s stomach drives many of their decisions, especially at school. Teachers have seen how grouchy the kids get before lunch, so imagine, but admin rarely gets to witness the sheer power and spite of a hungry teen.

A hangry teenager unleashed their full force upon a principal in this next story, punishing them for going back on their trade deal. The teachers and principal were happy to have a student painting their offices, hallways, and benches, but when he came to collect the free lunches he had been promised, they backpedaled. In a stunningly petty display of freewill, this teen followed up on his end of the deal anyway, painting the principal’s office door free of charge. The twist? He chose a stunning shade of hot pink that irrefutably reflected his simmering fury and empty stomach.

Good luck explaining this one to the district inspector, Mr. Principal.
