Don’t you ever just need a cute animal meme to laugh off all the stress of the week?
I hate Tuesdays more than Mondays, not because of something particularly awful that happens on that day. It’s just the sensation that Tuesdays provoke. On Mondays, you may be sad because the weekend is over and you have to work, but you still have some hope for the week. You are excited to start and get to do everything that you planned. That’s why Mondays aren’t the worst days. They aren’t even that bad. But Tuesdays are the worst. You realize that the week is awful, you have a thousand things to do and don’t have enough time to do, you are tired, you want the weekend to come as fast as you can, but it’s still too far away. Tuesdays are worse; they have no hope and are so far from the weekend. Wednesdays are a bit better. You are in the middle of the week. On one side, you have realized that you are not going to have enough time to finish everything that you planned, but at least we are already half a week over. We can start to think of plans for the weekend, and everything gets better. Thursdays are pre-Friday, and nothing is too bad on a pre-Friday; everything is almost over, and in no time you will be on the weekend. And Fridays — how much I love Fridays— that is the day that you are finally free. It doesn’t matter if you got to do everything that you had to do that week. Nothing matters anymore; the only thing that is important on Fridays is that you are free.
Nonetheless, Fridays are not the best day of the week. The superior day will always be Saturday. Some people work on Saturdays, so for those people it may not be, but for the ones that don’t, you are fully free the whole day to do whatever you want. You can dumbscroll of TikTok for five hours; you can read a book, go to the cinema, eat at a restaurant, go to a party, hang out with friends. You can do whatever you want because the whole day is free from responsibilities. The only people who hate Saturdays are the students who have to study for finals; other than that, Saturdays are still the superior day, and I will never change my mind about it. But well, we are on a Tuesday, so to make this day better, please enjoy these hilarious animal memes that can make any day better — yes, even an awful, awful Tuesday. So enjoy and look forward to the amazing Saturday that is about to come. Thinking about the weekend is what keeps people with high stress levels sane. After all, who does not feel better about everything after laughing at a meme of a cow sticking out its tongue for a selfie? Everything is better after laughing at a silly animal, don’t you think?
