Yesterday, I had a great time going to the beach. I frolicked in the sea, drank beer on a sun lounger, and greatly underestimated the powers of the Mediterranean sun. I was thriving, you might say, give or take a couple of awkward misjudgments involving seaweed and bikini line maintenance. Today couldn’t be more different: I’m hunched over my creaky old laptop, scouring the internet for mildly humorous tidbits that I hope generate enough website traffic to justify me continuing to do the same thing for God knows how much longer. 

Why, you might ask? Because like the majority of the working age adult population, I have to make a buck. Going to work is an inevitable part of life, but boy, can it be a soul-sucking one. That’s why the memers of the world devote so much time to creating content that complains about it. Man, I miss the ocean.
