It seems particularly cruel that St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Monday this year because so many of those who would rather be out celebrating are forced to be in the office—or perhaps worse, celebrated early and are now dealing with the results of that at work. In a just world, anybody with a BS job should be able to call out of work for dumb reasons and receive no consequences. 

While that isn’t true of most people’s professions, we still have the next best thing when it comes to protesting the grind and that is the humor that comes from work memes. They might not be as satisfying as handing in notice at a horrible job, but they do help take some of the pressure off if you dread clocking in every morning. We all need a helping of humor to get through the workday now and then.
