When I think of Star Trek, I don’t usually think about Thanksgiving, even though canonically, Thanksgiving still exists in the Star Trek universe as of the 2370s. During that decade, Sisko invited the senior staff of Deep Space Nine to join him for the Thanksgiving feast, which was made with vegetables he had grown on the ship. There was a callback to this holiday dinner in a later episode, where Michael Eddington told Sisko he thought he had used too much Tarragon while preparing the stuffing.
While Thanksgiving is still another week away, you’ve still got plenty of time to figure out how to make your Thanksgiving Day fit for the Starship Enterprise. You could draw a hand turkey by tracing the Vulcan salute! Other than that, I’ve got no idea how to make your Thanksgiving more Trekkified. If you’ve got ideas and want to share them in the comments, take a gander at these Star Trek memes on your way down there.
