The Cringiest Parenting Posts of the Week (November 27, 2023)

There’s something so powerful about being able to post anonymously. Stan Twitter has it all figured out; freely posting your most insane feelings about the person you’re obsessed with without anybody knowing who you really are. Tumblr has also got a flawless system. You can ask inane questions to your favorite posters without revealing that you’re the one who keeps wondering when they’re going to post the next installment of their OC’s harrowing adventures.

Of all the social media platforms, Facebook is the one that is most difficult to be an anonymous no-name on. It demands that you identify yourself with your full name in order to post, and if you’re arguing in the comments of a Walmart ad, it’s going to be harder to hide it. Luckily, there is now a feature where you can post anonymously in a Facebook group from the comfort of your own account. That’s lucky for us because now the cringey Facebook moms can take their masks off even more.
