Should you be obligated to cook your partner breakfast?

Cooking is a good way to show someone you care about them. It’s a way to make sure their needs are met, and their bellies are full. If you love someone, you might love cooking for them. You put your care into each step, and they can really feel it in every bite. Maybe you do this for your partner. It makes their lives a little easier, and you don’t mind doing it. But it’s an entirely different thing to be relied on. Then, you’re not doing a spontaneous act of kindness. They’re building your life around their generosity. This happens in relationships, and that can be okay. You’re allowed to rely on each other and need each other. But that doesn’t mean you should take each other for granted.
