If you’ve been to Disney theme parks in the past couple of years, you’ve probably noticed something…fast passes suddenly cost money and are also not called fast passes anymore. As someone who hasn’t been to Disney since 2018, I’ve heard about all of this Disney Genie, virtual queue, and Lightning Lane stuff secondhand, and none of it sounds good. The grapevine is saying that the boat ride through the greenhouse in Epcot is now a 30-minute wait. I don’t know about y’all, but I don’t think eliminating walk-on rides will make anyone happy. Can you believe there was a time when you didn’t have to wake up at 6 AM on vacation to reserve your lightning lane reservations?
