I think most dating app users would benefit from taking things more in good faith. This doesn’t mean putting up with any BS, mind you, but it does involve having a little more empathy for the person at the other end of our screen. Even the smoothest talkers have made major dating mistakes, and texting can be a notoriously tricky medium with which to get the tone right. 

That being said, sometimes the first teeny weeny red flag is an indicator for a big old atomic bomb of a problem slightly further down the line. It can seem like the most impossible balance, but single people have to contend with it if they want to find a relationship (or at least get laid). 

There are many out there who use the likes of Tinder and Hinge to act atrociously, and navigating that is just part of the whole joyous experience. Those who avoid being like some of the below examples will probably be fine.
