Since the dawn of the internet, people have been using it as an outlet for their most deranged and attention seeking impulses. It’s only recently that this has become a truly competitive sport. 

Part of the reason for this is a little app named TikTok, which has 117 million users in the US alone. Everyone and their mom seems to want to contribute their two cents on the platform, and this can lead to some truly perplexing content. Some users will stop at nothing for the sake of ridiculous viewing figures.

At least we can say that this can be amusing. We can’t seem to stop scrolling through it, anyway.
