It’s kind of crazy to think that one day, a large swathe of the population woke up and decided that there are very few boundaries as to what you should and shouldn’t post on the internet. Baring your soul for thousands or millions of views is good, actually. Social media had always been a personal diary for a select few, but it has never been so prevalent and accepted as when TikTok became popular. 

The upside of this is that we get to enjoy a level of candid amusement the likes of which we have never seen before. We can’t be as weird as we think we are, because look at what these bozos on the clock app are doing. While it would be silly to say that we could shrink the grand variety of human experience into one pesky app, TikTokers do a pretty good job of trying to do that.
