Parenting: no matter how hard I try, it will always be what my Instagram reels return to. I’m totally cool with it, though! There’s nothing more entertaining to me as a 24-year-old without children than a mom posting about how her kids have «different personalities» when they go to their dad’s house because he allows them to eat red dyes. I love to see all of the wild things that are happening on the parenting side of the internet, whether even though it will probably be about ten years before I create life with my human body. 

On reels and TikTok, wild parents are self-reporting how wild they are. They’re talking about unschooling through that «I think I like this little life» song. On Reddit, the kids of wild parents are sharing the absolutely insane texts their parents are sending them, and so many have to be read to be believed.
