‘This is my house, my family, and my child’: Estranged childhood friend insults a 29-year-old mom’s parenting tactics with her 5-year-old, gets kicked out of the house, and blocked as a result

Childhood friends get a free pass most of the time for acting impolite.

Like family members, long-time friends feel entitled to say whatever the heck they feel like saying, even if it’s judgmental, out-of-pocket, or just downright cruel. But if you’ve lived long enough enduring your spouse’s insufferable childhood friends, there comes a time in every relationship where partnerships feel the strain of an old friend’s input.
