Like family members, long-time friends feel entitled to say whatever the heck they feel like saying, even if it’s judgmental, out-of-pocket, or just downright cruel. But if you’ve lived long enough enduring your spouse’s insufferable childhood friends, there comes a time in every relationship where partnerships feel the strain of an old friend’s input. This mom, however, wouldn’t let her husband’s childhood friend stomp all over her, especially after the friend insulted her parenting skills in front of her 5-year-old.
