As one of the most beloved fantasy franchises of all time, there is almost always something more to look forward to when it comes to The Lord of the Rings. Only a couple of days ago, Elijah Wood was raising the anticipation for Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum, teasing that a lot of familiar faces from both behind and in front of the camera would be coming back to bring a real sense of continuity to the new project.

Even when there isn’t some kind of official new release on the horizon, though, there is always one failsafe fallback for all those nasty little hobbitses to enjoy on the internet. Obviously, I am talking about the vibrant world of Tolkien-inspired memes, where there are always updates of some form or another designed to make even the most straight-laced of the LOTR fandom chuckle.
