Twitter memes come and go so quickly. We laugh and hoot and holler at a «Twitter main character» for approximately 48 hours and proceed to forget they ever existed. Well, I don’t want to forget! The internet is already so poorly archived that it’s important to document phenomena outside of the platform where it first originated. That’s why I’m proud to present the most iconic moments on Twitter from the past year. These tweets will surely live on in our memories far beyond December of 2023 and are a testament to the persistence of the social media platform everybody loves to hate.
