Whoever started the rumor that cats are totally aloof and unruffled companions clearly never spent more than five minutes in the company of many peoples’ favorite type of pet. As any dedicated feline appreciator knows, these animals are the kind of goofball that could give any dog a run for its money. 

This isn’t to say that it is a competition, but there’s no denying that cats were here first when it came to the whole internet humor shebang. They asked for their very first cheezburger and basically haven’t stopped popping up in memes since.
